The N.C. Division of Motor Vehicles is searching for a commissioned contractor; in the state NCDMV oversees the agencies, though they’re operated by private businesses or local government.

There are 127 agencies in North Carolina to help customers with vehicle registration services and title transactions, license plate renewals, replacement tags and more.

A contractor will be needed to fill the vacancy at 14687 U.S. Highway 17 in Hampstead. It has been run by Judy Bradshaw since 1994; the contract ends in August.

Completed applications — available here — must be returned to NCDMV no later than June 30 or interested parties can call 919-615-8105 with questions.
