WILMINGTON — A new medical facility focused on youth has begun accepting patients.

KidsStreet Urgent Care — with one location in Greenville — is now open in Wilmington at 4117 Oleander Drive. A lead provider of pediatric urgent care services, it specializes in treatment of children from birth through 16 years old.

The location offers a variety of services — treatment for general illness, minor injuries, infections, x-rays, lab tests, vaccinations — and accepts myriad insurance plans and Medicaid.

It’s staffed by highly trained pediatricians, nurses, and medical personnel.

“Our goal is to provide parents with a peace of mind knowing that their children will receive the best care possible, even outside regular business hours,” said Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Timothy “Timbo” Taylor, in a press release.

KidsStreet Urgent Care is open seven days — Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday through Sunday, 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. — and accepts walk-in patients.
