Law enforcement seizes 30-plus guns from felon

WILMINGTON — A felon who was in possession of multiple firearms was arrested Monday in Wilmington.

On May 1, the Wilmington Police Department took into custody 23-year-old Audrey Luke Dennis. He was charged with multiple counts of possession of firearm by a felon.

Law enforcement, including WPD and Probation and Parole, seized more than 30 firearms, including AK-47s and handguns in the 200 block of White Oak Drive around 8:15 p.m. They also recovered substantial ammunition.

Dennis is being held at the New Hanover County Sheriff Office Detention Center without bond.
