WILMINGTON — A 34-year-old man is behind bars after police pursued his arrest by foot.
On Monday, April 3, Wilmington Police Department attempted to stop Jeremy Lane who was engaged in an active drug transaction, according to a release. After a “brief foot pursuit,” officers took Lane into custody and recovered a firearm.
Lane has been charged with 10 counts:
- Possession of firearm by a felon
- Possession of cocaine
- Possession of heroin
- Possession of schedule I controlled substance
- Carrying concealed weapon-gun
- PWIMSD cocaine
- PWIMSD heroin
- Resisting, delay, obstructing an officer
- Parole violation
- Possession within 1,000 feet of a school
Lane is being held at the NHCSO Detention Center without bond.
