NHCSO searching for stabbing suspect

NHCSO described the suspect in the Circle K stabbing as a middle-aged black male driving a newer model brown Hyundai. (NHCSO).

NEW HANOVER COUNTY — The New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a man involved in a stabbing this morning at a Circle K.

NHCSO described the suspect as a middle-aged black male driving a newer model brown Hyundai.

Just after 9 a.m. this morning, deputies responded to 2455 N. 23rd St., the Circle K convenience store located at the entrance of the Wilmington International Airport for a stabbing. Two men got into an argument at the gas station, which led to the suspect swinging at the victim while holding a large knife, striking the victim in the chest and causing severe injury. The victim was transported to Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center in stable condition.
