Lanes shift as crews make emergency repairs

WILMINGTON — Crews are continuing to make emergency repairs to a water main as of Tuesday, Feb. 7, which will impact traffic patterns in the northern part of the county.

Effective Tuesday afternoon, North Kerr Avenue is experiencing lane shifts starting at Fairlawn Drive; all southbound traffic has been shifted into the righthand lane. As well through and turn lanes of North Kerr Avenue are open south of the intersection with McClelland Drive.

The lane shifts began around 3:30 p.m. and are expected to remain in place for roughly five hours.
