United We Teach! [Free read]

United We Teach is a campaign that is designed to inform the greater Cape Fear region of 2021 educational summer programming offered by United Way of the Cape Fear Area non-profit partner agencies.

The Coronavirus pandemic has taken a toll on interpersonal interactions, as well as educational experiences. From shifting from routine, in-person learning, to an unexpected virtual learning environment, students across the Cape Fear community have needed to conquer unprecedented challenges.

United Way of the Cape Fear Area has committed to a multi-year investment in educational programming initiatives across the greater Cape Fear region that it serves: Brunswick, Columbus, New Hanover, and Pender counties. This investment is designed to motivate, empower, and encourage students by providing the resources they need to succeed in the classroom, no matter where the location.

This newest program focus begins with United Way of the Cape Fear Area’s introductory campaign, “United We Teach”. During the month of May, watch for information on the United Way of the Cape Fear Area’s social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and Twitter) for information highlighting the safe, fun, and enriching educational opportunities available for all ages across the Cape Fear Region during their Summer break!

“United We Teach” is a public service awareness communication that shares the availability of summer programs and resources that the United Way Agency Partners will be providing for all ages, youth and adults!
