BURGAW — The Pender County Sheriff’s Office has issued arrest warrants for Desmond Ca’Quan Conyers, a ‘cohort’ of Dwayne Poole Jackson, who was arrested last month after he was found hiding in an attic at a Wilmington residence.

Like Jackson, Conyers has been charged with one count of human trafficking, one count of advancing prostitution, one count of profiting from prostitution, all felonies. He is also facing an additional felony charge of conspiracy to commit human trafficking.

“Conyers is a cohort of Dwayne Poole Jackson who was arrested for the same charges involving the same victim last month,” according to the Sheriff’s Office.
