WILMINGTON — A 47-year-old man has been arrested after smashing his coworker’s windshield and then assaulting him with a 2×4.
“Just before 2 a.m. Thursday, July 2, officers responded to the 1900 block of Wolcott Ave. in reference to an assault. Stephen Parker Brown, 47, had been coming back from a job with his coworker when they got into a verbal altercation and Brown became angry. He broke the victim’s windshield with his arms and assaulted him with a 2×4, causing lacerations and bruising,” according to police.
Brown has been given a $50,000 secured bond and charged with assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill as well as injury to real property.
