New Hanover Sheriff’s Office asks for public’s help to find missing Laney student [Free read]

NEW HANOVER COUNTY — The New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office (NHCSO) are asking for the public’s help to find a missing teenage girl.

According to NHCSO, 17-year-old Brianna Monet Bowen was last seen on Wednesday, March 4, at a resident at 1353 Spring Valley Road in a subdivision behind Wilmington Christian Academy off of North College Road. Bowen is a Laney High School student, according to NHCSO.

Bowen is an African-American female, five foot, two inches tall, weighing approximately 115 pounds, with a medium build, according to NHCSO. She has short curly black hair and brown eyes.

According to NHCSO, Bowen was last seen wearing blue jeans, a red hoodie, a brown furry jacket, black shoes, with a black and pink book bag.
