SOUTHEASTERN, N.C. — The spring primary has arrived, with early voting open now through Feb. 29.
During the early voting period, voters can register on site. Only pre-registered voters are eligible to vote on Election Day, March 3.
Though voters passed a voter ID referendum in 2018, a federal judge blocked the new requirement from being implemented in December 2019. No photo ID will be required from voters this primary.
