WILMINGTON — A morning shooting has left one man injured in Downtown Wilmington, near the Wilmington Convention Center.
“Around 7:40 a.m. Monday, October 28, Wilmington police responded to a shooting in the 900-block of Nutt Street. Upon arrival, they discovered a middle-aged male suffering from a gunshot wound. The suspect confronted him and they argued, leading the suspect to shoot him before fleeing the scene. The victim was transported to New Hanover Regional Medical Center and treated for non-life-threatening injuries,” according to police.
