Update: Wilmington police issue warrants in Creekwood shooting that left woman wounded

Update: The Wilmington Police Department have issued warrants for Laquasha Moore, 22, of Wilmington. Moore is wanted for allegedly shooting Tychena Mosley, 25, in leg following an argument; Moore is being charged with ‘assault with a deadly weapon inflicting serious injury’ and ‘discharging a firearm in city limits.’

WILMINGTON — The Wilmington Police Department is asking the public for any available information after a shooting left a female victim injured.

The shooting happened Tuesday night around 7:30 p.m. off of Emory Street, in the Creekwood South development. Police officers arrived after 911 was called.

The Wilmington Police Department (WPD) has not released any additional information, and officers are still investigating. WPD is asking anyone with information to use Text-A-Tip or call the department at 910-343-3609.
