BRUNSWICK COUNTY — This week, Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office conducted its semiannual drug offender roundup. Each spring and fall, the department issues a swath of warrants on drug-related cases detectives have been working.
Deputies are tasked with serving warrants on those cases and tracking down the individuals who need to be taken into custody.
On Wednesday, the sheriff’s office arrested 28 out of the 51 alleged drug offenders targeted in this spring’s roundup.
Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office invited members of the media to tag along while some of these warrants were carried out in various areas of the county.
