Dump your stuff for free in Brunswick County all next week

Free dump week in Brunswick County is here. For six days next week, Brunswick County residents can dump their items free of charge at the Bolivia landfill.

BRUNSWICK COUNTY — Free dump week in Brunswick County has arrived. Twice a year, the county hosts the event for its residents.

Residents and property owners in Brunswick County can dump items at the landfill at no cost.

Regular household trash and hazardous waste cannot be disposed of during this free weeklong event.

Metal, tires, electronics, latex paint, and yard debris can be dumped but must be separated in designated areas at the landfill.

People participating in free dump week will be required to show proof of residency or property ownership. The event does not apply to businesses and commercial vehicles, which will be chared tipping fees as usual.

Free dump week begins Monday, April 15, and lasts through Saturday, April 20. The landfill in Bolivia is open between 7:30 a.m. and 5 p.m. every weekday. On Saturday, the landfill will close at 3 p.m.
