CFPUA sewer work may cause lane closures on Carolina Beach Road through Friday

Work will take place from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. from Tuesday through Friday.

WILMINGTON — According to the Cape Fear Public Utility Authority (CFPUA), sewer work may cause temporary lanes closures on Carolina Beach Road and Shipyard Boulevard.

“Drivers may experience temporary lane closures near the intersection of Carolina Beach Road and Shipyard Boulevard from Tuesday, April 9, through Friday, April 12, as Cape Fear Public Utility Authority’s contractor conducts inspections and maintenance on sanitary sewer mains,” CFPUA stated in a release this morning.

According to CFPUA, work will occur between 6 a.m. and 5 p.m. in an area around the intersection pictured below.
