First announced in May 2018, the event was set to take place in late September at the Wilson Center. After Hurricane Florence made landfall in the Cape Fear region, the show was canceled.

According to a Cape Fear Community College (CFCC) release Monday, attempts to rescheduled the concert lasted five months. CFCC said it would be thrilled to book Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons at a future date when both the artist’s and the venue’s schedules align.

Wilson Center is refunding tickets to those who purchased them. Ticket holders are receiving phone calls, emails and letters with more details about the refunding process, the release states, while refunds are being processed.

For more shows at the Wilson Center, check on the venue’s website.
