New Hanover Sheriff’s Office asks for public’s help finding Gordon Road armed robbery suspect

NEW HANOVER COUNTY —- The New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public help in locating an armed robbery suspect.

According to NHCSO, the suspect robbed the Circle K at 6648 Gordon Road early Tuesday morning.

“The robbery took place shortly after 1 a.m. when the suspect entered the store, walked up to the cashier appeared to have a weapon in his jacket and demanded cash. After receiving cash from the cashier the suspect exited the store and is believed to fled the scene by vehicle,” according to NHCSO.

NHCSO described the suspect as a “black male with a grey goatee wearing a black coat, grey pants, and a black beanie hat.”
