Update: “Angel Javier Vasquez returned home and is safe,” according to the New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office. The Sheriff’s Office thanked all those who helped spread the word.
NEW HANOVER COUNTY — The New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s help to find a 15-year-old boy.
Angel Javier Vasquez, 15, was last seen at the North Chase Apartments, located off of North College Road in northern New Hanover County. Angel was seen at 3117 Enterprise Dr., apartment D7, on Friday, Nov. 2.
Angel is described as being 6 feet 3 inches tall, weighing approximately 170 pounds; he is Hispanic, with brown eyes and black hair, cropped short.
When last seen, Angel was wearing an olive drab greet t-shirt, a camouflaged windbreaker jacket, a black backpack, and olive-colored Vans shoes.
Angel is a student at Laney High School.
