SURF CITY — According to the North Carolina Department of Transportation, Little Kinston Road in Surf City will be closed for two days next week at its intersection with N.C. 50/210. The closure on Tuesday, Nov. 6, and Wednesday, Nov. 7, is needed so crews can safely tie-in Little Kinston Road and the new mainland roundabout
“During this time, please use caution as crews will be working around the clock to complete the tie-in,” says NCDOT Project Engineer Ben Meyer. “Access will be restored as soon as possible once the work is finished.”
For those trying to navigate around the closure, NCDOT suggests using JH Batts Road, and are urging drivers to use caution and slow down in the work zones.
