Brunswick Sheriff’s Office asking for help to find teenage girl who is missing again

BRUNSWICK COUNTY — The Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help find a missing teenage girl who has disappeared for the second time in two months.

The Sheriff’s Office posted a notice that 16-year-old Cytlaly Nayeli Cardenas Ibarra is again missing on its Facebook page. No information about her last known whereabouts was included.

Cytlaly is described by authorities as being approximately 4-foot, 10-inches tall, with brown hair and brown eyes.

Cytlaly went missing in August. The Sheriff’s Office later confirmed that she had left home with Luis Antonio Martinez, 17, who had also been reported missing. The couple was located safe shortly afterward.

Anyone with information on Cytaly’s whereabouts is asked to please call 911.
