WILMINGTON—The Black Sea Grill in downtown Wilmington suffered “extensive water damage” and will be closed indefinitely, the restaurant announced this morning.

According to a post on the restaurant’s Facebook page, the restaurant at 118 S. Front St. suffered serious damage on Saturday evening.

“Due to this situation, we will be closed until further notice,” the post states. “At this time we do not know how bad the damage is or how long this remodeling will take.”

The Black Sea Grill opened in 2009, with owner John Murrisky serving Turkish cuisine.

Port City Daily has reached out to Murrisky and Black Sea Grill, and will have updates on the reopening when more information is available.
