KURE BEACH—The Kure Beach Street Festival will return later this month. For this year’s festivities, the town has organized a full day of family-friendly activities at Ocean Front Park.
From 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. on April 28, vendors will be lined up and entertainment will be available.
Free face painting will be offered from noon until 4 p.m., with live music from Carl Newton’s Review performing three separate sets. A magic show with No Sleeves Magic and Mr. Scooter’s Kid Show will take place on stage between the live music sets.
Over 35 vendors are expected to set up temporary shop along Atlantic Avenue and Ocean Front Park for the street festival.
Poor Piggy’s and Vittles food trucks will be on the scene along with mobile food vendors Firehouse Kettle Korn, Tastebuds Popcorn Carolina
Beach, and Kona Ice.
