WILMINGTON — The North Carolina Azalea Festival has announced their Friday night act for the Main Stage Concert Series.

38 Special, with opening act Tuesdays Gone, will perform Friday, April 13, at the North Carolina Azalea Festival Main Stage.

After more than four decades together and over 20 million in sales, 38 Special continues to bring their Southern Rock sound to over 100 cities a year.

“We never wanted to be one of those bands that had maybe gotten a little soft or complacent over the years,” said guitarist and vocalist Don Barnes. “We’re a team, and it’s always been kind of an unspoken rule that we don’t slack up, we stack up. We go out there every night to win.”

Tickets are $23 and will go on sale through the Azalea Festival website and at the Azalea Festival Ticket Office on Friday, March 2 at 9 a.m.

For more information, call 910 794-4650 or visit the Azalea Festival website.
