WILMINGTON — Comedian Ron White is coming to the Port City.
White, occasionally known as “Tater Salad,” will take the stage for one night at the Cape Fear Community College’s Wilson Center in the fall, with tickets going on sale in July.
After touring with – and in some senses outgrowing – the Blue Collar Comedy Tour, White embarked on a series of solo tours. He has since sold over 14 million albums and was twice nominated for a Grammy, becoming one of the top grossing comedians in the United States.
White will perform Thursday, Sept. 21 at 7:30 p.m. The comedy show is decidedly adult content and may not be suitable for younger audience members. Online ticket sales start Friday, July 7 at 10 a.m. and will be available starting at 2 p.m. at the Wilson Center Box Office or by phone (910-362-7999).
