WILMINGTON — The University of North Carolina at Wilmington’s 93rd commencement kicks off this afternoon and runs through Saturday, May 6. Nearly 2,600 students will graduate in the University’s largest-ever graduation ceremony.
To account for increased weekend traffic and the influx of visitors for the Wells Fargo Championship, UNCW is recommending attendees give themselves “twice the usual drive time.” Parking will also be at a premium and guests are strongly encouraged to carpool. Check out the University’s parking suggestions and parking map.
All ceremonies are free to the public, with doors opening an hour before each ceremony. There are no tickets necessary and seating will be first-come, first-serve. For those unable to make it to event, the ceremonies will be streamed live.
