Wilmington police are searching for a woman missing from the area since last Friday.
Ebonee Spears, 30, of Wilmington, was last seen at her address in the 1300 block of Brooklyn Lane on the evening of Jan. 15, according to Wilmington Police Department Spokeswoman Cathryn Lindsay.
Spears may be in need of medication, Lindsay said. She is a black female who is 5 feet 7 inches tall and weighs about 140 pounds. She has brown hair, brown eyes and a tattoo on her right arm.
Detectives have been actively searching for Spears since her disappearance, Lindsay said.
