WILMINGTON — The Wilmington Police Department arrested a man for firing a gun while walking down Independence Boulevard early Saturday morning.
Police detained 22-year-old Jack Battle Day around 3 a.m. after receiving reports shots were being fired in the Independence Boulevard and Portofino Court areas.
Officers disarmed Day and charged him with:
- Discharging a firearm in a reckless manner
- Going armed to the terror of people
- Disorderly conduct
Day received a $10,000 secure bond. No one was injured.
