The Agenda: 3 community meetings regarding new developments

SOUTHEASTERN N.C. — Every Monday Port City Daily will share upcoming government meetings around the tri-county region. If there’s an item of public interest, we’ll include that below the listed meeting, too.

Monday, Dec. 26

A community meeting will be held at 5:30 p.m. at the Best Western, 5600 Carolina Beach Road in Wilmington, for a proposed conditional rezoning at 4629 Carolina Beach Road. View the letter here and site plan here.

Wednesday, Dec. 28

The Wilmington Urban Area Metropolitan Planning Organization will hold a special-called meeting at 2 p.m. on the sixth floor of 320 Chestnut St. The meeting can be livestreamed via Zoom. The purpose is to hold a closed session to consult with WMPO’s legal counsel regarding attorney-client privilege matters.

A community meeting will be held at 6 p.m. at the Courtyard by Marriott, 100 Charlotte Avenue in Carolina Beach, for a proposed new residential community at 5831 Carolina Beach Road and 5982 Appomattox Drive. View the letter here and site plan here.
