The experience that you will have at Hieronymus Seafood Restaurant & Oyster Bar is uniquely Wilmington, North Carolina. Our specialty is Cape Fear cuisine, including fresh local seafood, fresh vegetables, and local craft beer.  Fresh is always best.

When you walk through our doors, take a look around. You will see many items that are a part of our history. The shells inside the tables have been brought to us by many guests throughout the years. Nameplates on the bar designate locals that have told many a tale.  Come check out our Oyster Bar and watch the Steamed seafood cooked in front of you or relax on the covered patio by the firepit. Hot Crab Dip — Crab Meat delicately blended with aged Parmesan and Cream Cheese.  Served with Garlic Toast Points

Petite Shrimp & Grits — Shrimp sauteed in Lobster Cream sauce over our Yellow Stone Ground Grits w/ tomato and scallions, served with a side salad

Calamari — Hand breaded Calamari tentacles and tubes, lightly fried, then served with Thai chili sauce.

Shrimp & Scallop Alfredo Pasta — Shrimp and scallops,m sauteed in garlic, and butter, topped on pasta with homemade Alfredo sauce (traditional or Cajun), and served with garlic toast points and a side salad.

Oysteronymus — Oysters on the half shell topped with a mix of our homemade crab dip and spinach

Seasonal Fish and Bacon-Wrapped Scallops — Choose from herb-grilled or Carolina style (topped with tomato, spinach, red onion, basil, drizzled with Balsamic reduction) locally prepared filet, served with bacon-wrapped scallops and choice of two sides.
