Veteran career expo to be hosted in Leland

LELAND — Veterans looking for work in the new year will have an opportunity to assess options this month in Leland.

The VFW Post 12196 and Veterans Creative Arts Program is hosting the Veteran Job Fair and Career Expo on Jan. 17, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., at 1120 E. Cutler Crossing, Ste. 204, in Leland.

On site will be the Lower Cape Fear LifeCare, FirePoint Insurance, Liberty Home Care, Leland Police Department, Brunswick Community College, Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office, and Brunswick Electric Membership Corp.
