WILMINGTON — The Battleship North Carolina Memorial has announced the return of its Hidden Battleship tours for 2027, with tickets now available for $75 per person, plus tax.
Designed for adventurous history enthusiasts, the six-hour experience requires participants to climb ladders, cross high hatches and navigate tight, confined spaces. Because of the tour’s physical demands, participants must be at least 16 years old.
The Hidden Battleship tour takes visitors beyond the ship’s self-guided exhibits and into unrestored areas of the Battleship North Carolina Memorial that are typically closed to the public. Led by experienced guides in small groups, participants explore spaces below deck, throughout the third deck, in the bow and high into the ship’s superstructure, including the very top.
The 2027 Hidden Battleship tours are scheduled for:
- Saturday, Feb. 27
- Saturday, March 20
- Saturday, April 24
- Saturday, Nov. 20
Each tour runs from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
