WILMINGTON — The 8th Annual Beer, Bourbon, & BBQ Festival returns on March 14 to Live Oak Bank Pavilion at Riverfront Park.
Attendees can enjoy all those pleasures that true southerners live by — beer, bourbon, barbecue, boots, bacon, biscuits, bluegrass, and smoked beasts.
Each guest receives a souvenir tasting glass to sample a wide variety of beers and bourbon. The event includes all-day performances, a whole hog pig pickin’ every other hour and other food vendors, plus educational seminars in distillery, brewing and smoking.
And because it’s St. Patrick’s Day weekend, those who wear green will receive a free souvenir bag. March 14 is also Pi Day (3.14), so the event will also include pie-eating contests on the main stage.
General admission tickets are $45 and includes entry from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. The VIP package is $79, includes a BBQ dinner plate, and gets you in at 12 p.m. Entry only tickets are also being sold onsite for $25.
