
WILMINGTON — Cape Fear Community College is planning a special panel discussion series as part of the nationwide celebration of America’s 250th birthday; it is looking for local veterans and military family members willing to share their stories.
CFCC is seeking participants who served , or the family members of those who served, during the following eras:
- World War II
- Korean War
- Vietnam War
- Modern conflicts, including Iraq and Afghanistan
The WWII panel discussion will take place April 6, followed by the Korean and Vietnam wars on April 7 and modern conflicts on April 8.
These panels will highlight personal experiences, service, and reflections across generations, helping preserve local military history while honoring those who have served.
