Fundraising breakfast for affordable housing to take place later this month

WILMINGTON – A local community organization is presenting an early morning fundraiser and informational session about affordable housing in the greater Cape Fear Area.

The Cape Fear Habitat for Humanity is holding a breakfast ceremony, featuring  keynote speaker Richard Turlington, vice president of construction at Habitat for Humanity of Orange County, NC. Turlington will discuss Weaver’s Grove, a new multi-income housing development serving as a model for the Cape Fear Habitat developments. 

The breakfast will also feature local Cape Fear Habitat for Humanity staff, the CFHFH volunteer or the year and a homeowner of a Cape Fear Habitat house. Also present will be the program manager of diversity, equity, inclusion and community at nCino Zedrick Applin.

Tickets and reservations can be made online, by email or by calling 910-762-4744 ext. 119 or ext. 124. Ticket prices range from $65 for individuals to $1,600.
