WILMINGTON — A panel discussion in coordination with the 2023 Emancipation Proclamation Series will be held next week in downtown Wilmington.
The Commission on African American History will host a discussion on housing, gentrification and the importance of literacy at 115 N. Third St. on the fifth floor. Panelists include Wilmington Housing Authority executive director Tyrone Garrett, LINC’s Leo Wilson, broker/realtor with Bernard and Associates Realty Adell Bernard and Good Shepherd’s Tiger Aldrich.
The meeting can be livestreamed on the city’s GTV8 and YouTube channel.
