High school football teams hit the field back on Friday. Hear from Hoggard Head Coach Craig Underwood following the Vikings 34-26 victory over West Brunswick. Big plays lifted New Hanover to a shutout win, while North Brunswick continues to roll in the East Central Conference.
College fans had a chance to see the UNCW men’s and women’s basketball teams at Midnight Madness on Friday. The women’s soccer team on campus has clinched a spot in the Colonial Athletic Association Tournament.
Local standouts also continue to do big things on the college football field and area products are gearing up for the start of the college basketball season at various programs across the country.
