The “Rappa Ternt Sanga” is coming to UNC-Wilmington.

UNCW announced this week that T-Pain will perform on campus on Thursday, Oct. 29, at Kenan Auditorium, according to the Association for Campus Entertainment, the organization presenting the show.

Tickets will go on sale to UNCW students beginning Monday, Sept. 28, with sales to faculty and staff and the general public starting Monday, Oct. 5.

Launching onto the scene in 2005 as a solo artist with his debut album, “Rappa Ternt Sanga,” T-Pain has gone on to achieve critical success as the auto-tune king of “hard & B.” In addition to his top-selling albums, he has earned two Grammy Awards for his collaborations with Kanye West and Jamie Foxx.

The local show is $20 in advance for students ($25 the day of the show). UNCW faculty and staff will get in for $23 in advance and $28 the day of show. General admission tickets are $25 pre-sale and $30 the day of the show.

Students and staff will be able to purchase two tickets with their UNCW ID cards and/or 850 numbers. Tickets will be available through etix or at the Kenan Box Office.
