WILMINGTON — Five-time Grammy Award-winning artist and Country Music Hall of Famer Marty Stuart and His Fabulous Superlatives are heading to Cape Fear Community College’s Wilson Center this fall.
The group is playing on Friday, November 13, at 7:30 p.m. Tickets will go on sale online and in person to the general public on Friday, July 10, at 10 a.m. at WilsonCenterTickets.com.
Stuart is most popular for his Grammy Award-winning hits including “The Whiskey Ain’t Workin’” and “Same Old Train.” He has performed with country icons including Lester Flatt and Johnny Cash and has reached Gold-certified with the album “Hillbilly Rock” and Platinum-certified with the album “This One’s Gonna Hurt You.”
In November, he will be joined by The Fabulous Superlatives, including bandmates Kenny Vaughan, Harry Stinson, and Chris Scruggs. The music blends cosmic cowboy trip with sun-kissed surf guitar, breezy California rhythms, and more.
