
WILMINGTON — Cape Fear Community College’s Wilson Center has announced its new season of Broadway tours for the 2026-2027 year.
As part of the PNC Broadway and the Beach season, there will be eight Broadway National Tours — such as “Waitress” and “Mystic Pizza.” Plus, a return of “The Book of Mormon” is slated after selling out few years ago during its first run in town. Plus, a Christmas concert will feature Leslie Odom Jr.
Below are the shows and dates, with tickets first going on sale during Community Day on July 25 at the Wilson Center; there will be a select quantity of $25 all-inclusive tickets. Tickets on Community Day are available only in-person at the box office, before opening to the greater public online.

WAITRESS

BOOK OF MORMON

After having a sold-out run at Wilson Center a few years back, “Book of Mormon” is returning. The outrageous musical comedy follows the adventures of a mismatched pair of missionaries, sent halfway across the world to spread the Good Word. With nine Tony Awards and standing room only productions in London, on Broadway, and across North America, “The Book of Mormon” has truly become an international sensation.

A special subscription add-on, Tony and Grammy Award-winning artist Leslie Odom, Jr.’s 2026 Christmas Tour is coming through town.
