Broadway icon Sutton Foster coming to the Wilson Center

WILMINGTON — The Wilson Center at Cape Fear Community College has announced two-time Tony Award-winning actress, singer, and dancer Sutton Foster will be performing live at CFCC’s Wilson Center on Friday, Feb. 13, 2026, at 7:30 p.m.

Foster is known for her critically acclaimed roles in “Once Upon a Mattress,” “Sweeney Todd,” “Anything Goes,” “The Music Man,” “Thoroughly Modern Millie,” “Young Frankenstein” and many more. Since 2002, she has been nominated for seven Tony Awards for Best Performance by an Actress in a Leading Role in a Musical and won twice. She was also nominated for an Olivier Award for Best Actress in a Musical in 2022. 

On television, Foster starred in the critically acclaimed series “Younger,” and “Bun Heads.” Her film credits also include “Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life,” “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel,” and “A Million Little Things.”

As a solo artist, Foster toured the country with hit songs from her albums “Wish,” “An Evening with Sutton Foster: Live at the Cafe Carlyle” and “Take Me to the World.” She has also graced the stages of Carnegie Hall, Feinstein’s, Lincoln Center’s American Songbook series, and many others. She holds an honorary doctorate from Ball State University, where she is a theatre instructor.

Tickets will be available online to Wilson Center Members on Wednesday, Sept. 3, 2025, at 10 a.m. Tickets go on sale online and in person to the general public on Friday, Sept. 5, 2025, at 10 a.m.
