WILMINGTON — The Wilson center will host eight shows for the 2024-2025 PNC Broadway and Beach Season, including Tony award-winning musicals “Hadestown” and “Dear Evan Hansen.”
On Tuesday, Cape Fear Community College announced the shows that will be part of the Wilson Center’s “PNC Broadway and the Beach” season.
The season will run from October 2024 to June 2025. “Tina,” a biographical musical about the life of singer and songwriter Tina Turner, is the first show in the lineup’s schedule with performances beginning Oct. 8.
The public will be able to buy tickets at a May 4 Community Day event at the Wilson Center; attendees will have the opportunity to win giveaway prizes, tour the facilities, and buy a limited amount of $25 tickets for each performance.
Online tickets will become available for “Tina” on May 6 at 10 a.m. through the Wilson Center’s website. New shows will become available at 10 a.m. each day afterward, until the full series is announced May 16. Ticket-buyers will receive a 10% discount for purchases of three or more shows.
