Alabama is touring as part of Roll On II North America, with special guest Deana Carter. The musicians will perform at Riverfront Park in downtown Wilmington on June. 13. Tickets go on sale this week.
Having officially launched in 1969, Alabama’s popularity was at its height in the ’80s, with the release of tracks like “Mountain Music,” “Dixieland Delight,” and “If You’re Gonna Play in Texas (You Gotta Have a Fiddle in the Band).”
The band performs an amalgamation of Southern rock, country, folk, bluegrass and pop and has been inducted into the Musicians Hall of Fame and Country Music Hall of Fame.
They’ll be joined by Carter, who found success with multiple number one singles on the Billboard country charts, such as “Strawberry Wine,” “We Danced Anyway,” and “How Do I Get There.”
Tickets to the show go on sale Friday, April 12, 10 a.m., here.
