CAROLINA BEACH — In the fall of 2024, the Carolina Beach Mural Project plans to install an exterior mural at the Sea Colony Condos in Carolina Beach.
It’s the 20th mural the project has funded and is intended to be beach- and nature-themed, and will feature animals and elements that inhabit the Wilmington beach area. Various species of seabirds, shorebirds, and sea turtles are among the animals that will be highlighted in the mural.
The Carolina Beach Mural Project will be releasing a formal request for proposals from artists interested in contributing to the mural. Winning proposals will be picked by May of 2024.
