The restaurant features sushi burritos, bowls, and other specialties and will soon offer boozy ice cream made to order using a nitrogen system.
NEW HANOVER COUNTY — The wait is over. Located just north of Wilmington in the Murrayville-Northchase area of the county, Roll On In will be serving up its first sushi burritos to the public on Saturday.
The North College Road location is the first franchise of the family-owned Cincinnati-based restaurant. Local owner Harry Papanikolau said he was very excited to debut the restaurant’s outsized take on sushi rolls, along with other specialties.
The restaurant will have a soft opening on Friday evening from 4 to 8 p.m. serving “limited items, while they last,” according to the restaurant’s Facebook page.
On Saturday the restaurant will open from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m.
The location will also host Buzzed Bull Creamery, which features a nitrogen system that can instantly freeze ice cream while customers choose from a variety of flavors, mix-in ingredients, and liquor (if you’re old enough). Buzzed Bull isn’t open yet — it should be opening “soon” — but Papanikolau encourages Roll On In customers to check out the facility.
Roll On In and Buzzed Bull Creamery are located at 3224 N. College Road, in the former Flaming Amy’s Bowl location in the Food Lion shopping center. For more information, check out the Roll On In Wilmington Facebook page and for updates on an opening date check out Buzzed Bull Creamery’s page.
