Angus allegedly struck a pedestrian, a Wilmington bartender walking to work, shattering his foot and ankle. The victim had the right of way and was midway through the intersection of South Third and Dock Streets when Angus struck him with her vehicle at approximately 8 p.m. Feb. 23.

When Angus struck the victim, he flew into the air onto the vehicle, according to a Wilmington Police Department release. Angus ran over the victim after he rolled off the hood of her car, while she was fleeing the scene.

Though warrants for the Hampstead woman have been obtained, it’s not clear whether or not police have arrested Angus.
