RALEIGH — One of the area’s most celebrated seafood restaurants has plans to enter the Raleigh market this spring.
After 10 years in business, Cape Fear Seafood Company’s fourth location will open just outside of downtown Raleigh.

Announced Monday, Cape Fear Seafood Company’s owner Evans Trawick said in a press release that he has his sights set on expansion through franchising.
Trawick’s franchisees, Eddie Elliott and Matt Wivell, will oversee day-to-day operations at the new Raleigh location. Both Elliott and Wivell have worked at Cape Fear Seafood Company for years.
Last summer, Trawick opened Cape Fear Seafood Company’s third location in Belville at the Waterford Shopping Center. The restaurant’s flagship store in Monkey Junction recently reached a decade in business and its second opened in 2015 at Bayshore Commons at Porters Neck.
Specializing in local seafood, craft cocktails, and hand-cut steaks, Cape Fear Seafood Company plans to bring the “best of the beach” to its new location in 2019.
