HAMPSTEAD — Jerry Beth Dallman went home to be with the Lord on 5/25/25 after a lengthy battle with Parkinson’s Disease.
Born Jerry Beth Blake on 7/29/1943 to the late Ozzie and Sudie Blake of Troy, NC. The family moved to Aberdeen when she was 5 years old where they became members of Aberdeen First Baptist Church where she remained a member until her death.
She served the church and the Lord in various ways; she particularly loved missions and was involved with several mission trips, she taught Sunday school and was a WMU leader for many years.
Jerry worked for Sears Roebuck and Co. for 25 years and then the Department of Corrections for 15 years until she retired. She loved to travel and after her marriage to Bill Dallman they traveled to all 50 states and all the Providences of Canada. She loved her family and friends and loved helping those in need.
Jerry is survived by one daughter Lesa McCabe (Sherwood) of Hampstead, NC. She was preceded in death by her father, mother and her brother Wayne Blake.
A memorial will be held at a later date in Newfoundland.
In lieu of flowers a donation may be made to the Aberdeen First Baptist Church Mission Fund.
