WILMINGTON — It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Stephen “Steve” L. Keyser, who departed this world on May 5, 2025, in Wilmington, NC, at the age of 68. Born on August 31, 1956, in Ieager, WV, Steve lived a life filled with passion and simplicity, leaving a lasting impression on all who knew him.

Steve’s journey through life was marked by his dedication as a Manager in the automotive parts manufacturing industry. With unwavering commitment, he guided his team with integrity and skill, embodying the values of hard work and perseverance.

Steve found joy in the simple pleasures of life. An avid enthusiast of all things mechanical, he cherished his collection of guns and liquor. Whether he was out in the yard, Steve felt most at home surrounded by nature. His love for the outdoors was a testament to his appreciation for simplicity and the beauty of the natural world.

Steve was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Carl Lee Keyser, Wilma (Toni) Keyser and brother Timmy Keyser whose memory he held dear. He is survived by his devoted wife, Margie Keyser, who stood by his side through life’s many adventures. Steve was a proud father and grandfather, loving his children and grandchildren deeply and cherishing every moment with them.

In honoring Steve’s wishes, a Memorial Service will be held in the near future. Family and friends will gather to celebrate his life, sharing stories and memories of a man who touched their lives in countless ways.

Though his physical presence will be deeply missed, Steve’s spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. His life was an inspiration, a reminder to savor the simple things, and to approach each day with gratitude and love.

Rest in peace, Steve Keyser. Your legacy will continue to inspire us all.
