CAROLINA BEACH — Sherry Ann Farnsworth Brookshire, 74, of Carolina Beach, passed away Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at her residence.
She was born on August 9, 1950, to Harold Dean Farnsworth and Betty Jane Beam Farnsworth of Cherryville, NC.
Sherry was a Group Tour Coordinator for over 20 years. After retirement, she worked with South East Area Health Education Center for 14 years and then with Community Care of the Lower Cape Fear for about 5 years.
She is survived by her daughter, Leanne Womack of the home and her son, Brian Womack of Vale, NC; grandson, Austin Womack of Waco, NC; sister, Gay Parker Riley; brother-in- law, Ed Parker of Wilmington, NC and sister-in-law, Roxanne Farnsworth of Vale, NC.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Howard Earl Brookshire, Jr. and her parents, and her brother, Steve Farnsworth.
Services will be private.
